Overview

A complete circuit of the Islands Thorns enclosure. Open heathland of The Butts offers open views over Leaden Hall and Ashley Hole. Climbing gently through beautiful woodland section to reach The Royal Oak at Fritham. Afterwards, through Eyeworth Wood for the return along Homy Ridge. Mainly easy walking on heathland and forest tracks. The path through Eyeworth Wood can be boggy and damp.
