New Year's Day Embsay Walk

From the car park we cross fields to Eastby where we start our assent up to Barden Moor. Once across the moor we have a short break overlooking Lower Barden Reservoir. We then walk to Upper Barden Reservoir where we head south across the moors and then ascend up to Embsay Crag where we have our second short break whilst enjoying views over Embsay Reservoir. A steep descent takes us down to our return path across fields.
