Overview

From Newhailes House, Musselburgh via Figgate Park to Holyrood Park and the Commonwealth Pool.  The route is mostly flat on a mix of off-road footpaths, cycle path and pavement with a couple of hills - up and down - in Holyrood Park which will be taken at a leisurely pace.  Return by bus.  Remember your bus pass.  PLEASE NOTE: on the day, this walk might be done in reverse so please be at the start promptly at 10.00 to catch a bus at 10.09.  OS Landranger 66/Explorer 350.  MEET NB 9.15, Hadd 9.30 for a 10.00 start.  Contribution towards petrol £3.  Please contact the leader to book your place.
