A walk from Newton taking in Foxton wood.

Meet in Newton at the junction of Town Street with Fowlmere Road.

Free street parking along Town street or Fowlmere Road.

Lunch stop at the Newton Brook (the stream).

Some of the paths are overgrown, there are deer in the area and it is tick season.

Potential for a drink at The Queen's Head or a hot drink and cake at Days bakery and food hall after the walk.

Getting to Newton by public transport may be complicated and takes 1hr, please post for a lift in the comments.

Please bring a packed lunch, plenty of water, waterproofs, sun cream and a hat.
