Overview

This is a gentle walk from Newton Poppleford, through Hawkerland Valley, on to Aylesbeare and Harpford Commons and back through orchards to the start. There is some lane walking, old Devon by-ways and tracks across the pebblebed heathland. No steep slopes and much wildlife interest.
