Overview

This Sunday's early spring canter takes us to the cefns, the coeds, the cwms and the nants of North Cardiff. We will be walking on bridle paths, woodland trails and across open fields.

There is some road walking along quiet country lanes.

Mention needs to be made of uneven terrain underfoot but particularly the stretches of churned up mud  in those fields in which livestock are kept.

So stout boots and walking poles are required.

We should be rewarded by signs of the imminent arrival of spring. Fingers crossed for dry weather.

I have negotiated some parking space in the pub car park but would appreciate people car-sharing as much as possible so that we can avoid commandeering the space prioritised for patrons. Ty Mawr Arms car park. w3w : spit.firms.poster
