We are the East Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A 6.8 mile circular walk along country lanes and footpaths north to Crowsley Park, the former home of the Baskerville Family and now a BBC monitoring station, though the house is privately occupied. From here, our most northerly point, we return south to the Flowing Spring via Binfield Heath. A moderate walk with a few hills which includes the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and far reaching views across the Thames Valley. Lunch will be at The Flowing Spring - please be prepared to pay with cash rather than by card.
The Flowing Spring, Henley Road, Playhatch, Oxon RG4 9RB. This is on the A4155 Reading to Henley Road. Turn down Spring Lane and there is a large car park on your right, behind the pub building.
