Once we have escaped the urban delights of Dedworth the countryside will start appearing after we pass the Greene Oak pub. Several fields follow before we emerge onto the Fifield Road. After about 11.5 minutes of pavement we will turn off into some more fields, some of which will feature horses in paddocks. Following this we tickle parts of Fifield tarmac before entering paths with enthusiastic undergrowth. After some more fields we will encounter two elderly stiles and probably a couple of horses.
