We take the coastal path across to Southerndown, which includes a short, steep rocky climb. Coffee break will be in the walled garden in Dunraven. A short walk back to the toilet block at Southerndown and we take a right, where we do some woodland and field walking. There are only 2 or 3 stiles along the route.
At St. Brides there's a small amount of very quiet road walking, before a short climb to common land. A rocky outcrop will provide the lunch stop. A pretty, mostly flat-ish walk afterward, and the ground gets sandy underfoot. We pass an ancient well (I know there'll be questions ! )
We go on to Norton, then make our way back through the countryside to the car park where there should be coffee and ice cream vans.
