Overview

Starting at Old Dam we start a fairly gentle climb up through Oxlow Rake to the Cop before following the Limestone Way down to Mount Pleasant Farm. Having crossed the A623 we follow a quiet lane towards Wheston before heading towards Tideswell. Our route then takes us down to Monks Dale, and again following the Limestone Way we head up through Peter Dale, Hay Dale and finally Dam Dale.

Turn left off the A623 at the traffic lights in Peak Forest. You can park anywhere along Church Lane but be careful not to block gates.
