We are the Hampshire 40+ Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk is in place of Elaine's walk from from Old Winchester Hill which she had to cancel due to ill health. Hopefully Elaine you are now well on the road to a full recovery.
Please note that the walk will start at 10am as opposed to an afternoon walk.
We start the walk from the Old Winchester Hill car park and head off in an easterly direction toward East Meon on the South Downs Way . Due to the terrain of this area, we will encounter a couple of hills but nothing too bad. We return on part of the Monarch's Way.
We will stop for a picnic lunch around 12.30 (depends on a nice spot!).
The George & Falcon in Warnford has reopened and for those interested, we could have a drink in there after the walk.
All welcome together with dogs under control.
