Orrell water park and Billinge Hill

A pleasant circular walk from Orrell Water Park to Billinge Hill which is the highest point in Merseyside and we will have extensive views over Liverpool and Manchester (weather permitting).  The walk is quite easy going but there is quite a steep climb to get onto the summit of Billinge Hill where we have lunch.  From there we drop down to walk back into Orrell Water Park.

Following the walk we will go to a nearby pub for refreshments.
