Jeremy will lead his one way Medway walk from Paddock Wood station carpark to Tonbridge and returning by bus replacement back from Tonbridge station.
The fun 6-minute train ride back to the car is now, unfortunately, a bus replacement service, say, 15 minutes. £3.40, every 30 mins, station to station, same as the train schedule. I will bring a timetable. Plenty of pubs and cafes in Tonbridge if we miss the first one. Paddock Wood carpark all day is £3.20. It is highly recommended to purchase a parking ticket via the APCOA app on your phone or online www.apcoa.co.uk. Tickets can be got in advance. Download the APCOA app, or purchase, at home because the internet at the station is inadequate. Otherwise, the sole, card only, ticket machine is in Carpark A, on the south side and the footbridge to Carpark C is open 24/7. Some plan to park free in Tonbridge, take the replacement bus to Paddock Wood and walk back. Leave plenty of time. Note that Tunbridge Wells - Tonbridge is now also a bus replacement service, so a return from TW, previously a good deal, is probably no longer viable. Any difficulties, call me 07521 611 050
