We are the Cirencester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From the car park in Painswick we walk through the town then on field paths, tracks and lanes, via Holcombe to the summit of Painswick Beacon, joining the Cotswold Way across the common and golf course back to Painswick. An undulating walk with magnificent views, one short steep climb to the Beacon, 5 stiles. 2 refreshment stops.
The Group encourages car sharing from the Meeting Point. If you wish to go to the start point instead of joining the walk at the Meeting Point, please contact the Walk Leader who will tell you the Start Point and Time. Travel donation £3.
