We are the Tamworth and Lichfield Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A moderate walk with one steepish ascent towards the middle of the walk and one or two less strenuous ones. It passes through the village of Tissington (without using any of the Tissington Trail) and contains a lovely high-level stretch with far-reaching views of the surrounding hills and dales. There are quite a few stone squeeze stiles and some stone step stiles on the walk.
The starting point shown is an approximate location only. Anyone wanting to drive direct to the starting point without meeting in Lichfield beforehand is advised to contact the walk leader for details of the exact location and parking arrangements.
