We are the Tweeddale Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A lovely walk through Haylodge park, Jedderfield Farm, Hamilton hill, Roman road, to Lyne Station. We'll cross the Tweed and walk to Barns House, over Manor Bridge, past Neidpath castle and back to Haylodge Park.
The terrain is on farm tracks a bit of moorland / woodland, nothing difficult. One locked gate to climb over and one wooden fence.
This is a moderate to strenuous walk.
Please bring a packed lunch and appropriate clothing for the weather.
We are a very friendly welcoming group and look forward to welcoming new walkers on our walks. If you haven't walked with us before, please do contact the walk leader in advance so they can let you know what to expect and what to bring.
