Overview

The walk sets off from the Church car park, following a track leading to a bridal path, skirting Moel Penderyn. We will then approach a steep descent down to Dinas Rock, where the path is very rocky and can be slippery. On reaching the bottom, it should be time for a coffee break before heading off towards Glyneath Golf Course. We pass through the course to reach a farm track. There will be a short period of road walking before we head off onto a track heading towards Sgwd Clun Gwyn where we expect to take lunch. We lead off heading towards Sgwd yr Eira Waterfall and it should be noted that we will be walking behind this waterfall. Great care will be needed as the path is very uneven, wet and slippery. On reaching the top we will follow a track to the north of Moel Penderyn which takes us back to the car park.
