Overview

A very steep climb on Pendle Way to Pendle's Big End, followed by a descent over Barley Moor to Ogden Clough, where some of the pathe are eroded and tricky. . Pass Ogden Upper reservoir to Fell Wood, another steepish climb. Rejoin Pendle Way, through Newchurch in Pendle. Return to the car park via a green lane. This will be at a leisurely speed, with frequent stops to rehydrate and admire the view.
