We are the Mid Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Downland walking from Pewsey, taking in the White Horse and the tops of Pewsey, Abbots & Bruce’s Downs and views onto the Upavon Airfield and Upavon itself. We return along the pretty valley of the infant River Avon, through Manningford Abbots, to Pewsey. Potential for great views. Some stiles and steady hills.
There may be livestock en route and sticks may be useful as it may be slippery. Please bring lunch and refreshments for two stops.
