Overview

This last of our series of evening walks for 2025 takes in Pleasington and Hoghton Bottoms, starting from outside the Butlers Arms. Having walked through Pleasington village, we’ll pass along the River Darwen and through the hamlet of Hoghton Bottoms on our loop back to Pleasington.

Our meeting and start point is only 5 mins walk from Pleasington railway station (and we pass the station 5 mins into the walk).

There is plenty of road parking on Pleasington Lane close to the Butlers Arms.
