Overview

A very varied walk using byways, footpaths, tracks and lanes. The route takes us towards Caio Forest then skirts the southern edge of Pen Lifau, before an interesting woodland area which can be quite wet with small streams to cross. There are stunning views most of the way.

Porthyrhyd near Caio. As you enter the village from the west turn first right down a narrow lane and after 1/2 km the parking is on the right at the entrance to the wood . Please do not obstruct the gate way.
