We are Herts Weekend Walkers, HWW for Short . We are aimed at people aged in their 40s, 50s & 60s who are normally working during the week and can usually only find time to get outside and enjoy a walk at the weekend.
Starting from Potten End, we will wander through the Ashridge Estate enjoying the late Autumn colours of Frithsden Beeches and Berkhamsted Common. The walk is mostly level with a couple of moderate inclines. The lowest point of the walk is also its pinnacle - the Golden Valley by Ashridge House designed by Capability Brown. At the end of the walk there is the opportunity for a drink in the local pub.
Starting on the green opposite the village hall. Please park courteously around the village.
