Overview

A pleasant and fairly easy walk across heathland paths with nice views, approx 2.5hrs walking, 10.5km from Sunnyside Farm Car Park at Ridge near Wareham.  Starting along the old Blue Pool tramway, then heading east to cross Soldiers Road, then across Middlebere Heath and returning Westwards via Sleep Heath and back along the tramway.

Nice views across heathland to Corfe Castle, a couple of steep sandy sections, not too muddy anywhere and a short road section. Time for a brief stop for a drink and snack before the return leg.

Car Park at entrance to Sunnyside Farm, (limited parking, £3 all day on Ringo App or free roadside parking nearby). Alternative roadside parking is several minutes away at Barndale Drive / Old Kiln Road.
