Quakers Yard / Treharris - WALK CANCELLED

The walk will cross the river Taff  (by bridge - no wading across !! )

We follow the river, then a steady climb to the gap / bite, for a Coffee break.

Then downhill to follow the old canal road to Abercynon, back up the river and then a bit of a climb to  the road. Heading towards Quakers Yard and then to Nelson, we then cut through the woods to retrace our steps back to the Glan Pub !!

If the weather deteriorates ie. too much rain, we can cut the walk short at various points, to return to the shelter of the Pub, good beer and coffee !
