West Mendip Walkers moderate 10.5mile circular walk from Holford Green (TA5 1SA). The walk is a clockwise loop via Higher Hare Knapp and Black Hill taking in Halsway Post, Beacon Hill and Quantock's Head. The route aims to follow ridges where possible with potential to divert to combes in some places in the event of bad weather. Total ascent 460m (
