Overview

From Kings Cross we head around the back to Coals Drop Yard where we find the towpath of the Regents's Canal.  We follow it west towards Camden, passing through Camden Lock.  A quick climb up Primrose Hill to admire the panoramic views of London then back to the towpath to pass through London Zoo and past the monkey enclosure.

After a brief time on pavement arrive at Little Venice for lunch with multiple food/coffee venues and benches and Paddington Station for mini supermarkets and toilets.  We will have about an hour here to admire the canal barges and then will head back the same way following the towpath once again.

The path is narrow and congested in places especially when passing under bridges and locks.
