Ridge walk from the Tafarn y Garreg

This walk will start from the Tafarn y Garreg Pub. The route will go at high level along the ridge to the two lakes, Llyn y Fan Fawr and Llyn y Fan Fach. There are great views if the weather is fine.

Due to the length of the walk, if the weather and visibility is not good, then the walk will be shortened by coming off the ridge at Fan Brycheiniog and looping back down to the Tafarn y Garreg at low level.

This would reduce the length of the walk by 3 miles.

There will be steep climbs and descents along with uneven surfaces.
