The walk is along quiet country lanes and through fields around Ripley.We leave Ripley on the Nidderdale Way,as it makes its way around Scarah Moor. Leaving the Nidderdale Way we cross Scarah Bank road heading over to Bishop Thornton,and our lunch stop. We then carry on to Law Lane and Bedlam. Crossing the B6165 we enter the fields surrounding Ripley Castle and shortly enter the village.
