River Dane & Three Shires Head (recce)

Distance: 12 miles
Starting from Derbyshire Bridge car park, the route follows moorland paths with extensive views, with the River Dane and Three Shires Head offering prominent points of reference. The return route takes in Wilboarclough, with the opportunity for a drink at the Cat & Fiddle Inn, before descending back to the start point.
Due to the distance and nature of the route this is classed as a ‘strenuous’ walk.
