Overview

A circular walk from Laughton en le Morthen across fields and a quiet road to the picturesque village of Firbeck. From there, more meadow walking takes us to Stone, then onto Roche Abbey where we stop for lunch and maybe have wander round the ruins. We return through a section of ancient woodland (King's Wood) and a pleasant path to Laughton with far reaching views. A narrow track with a few quaint stone stiles brings us close to the beautiful spired church, then on to the finish.
