Climb the fells, exploring the area between the Burnley Road and Bacup Road. We will follow the Todmorden Moor Geology Trail, marvelling at the bones of the landscape. Stoodley Pike and Orchan Rocks can be glimpsed on a clear day, as you stand looking out over the ancient counties of Yorkshire and Lancashire.

Be aware that there will be steep ascents and descents. Good boots are advised. 
The walk begins and ends in central Todmorden which boasts several cafes and pubs for post-walk recuperation! Rail and bus links are close by.

Meet and park at Stansfield Road carpark, on Stansfield road, Todmorden. Turn off the Burnley Road at the mini roundabout by Todmorden bus station and it is immediately to your left.
