We are the Strathtay Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Explore prehistoric remains including rock art, standing stones and a stone circle, walk through an abandoned village and visit a mediaeval church with a beautiful painted ceiling, showing the layers of history to be found on the southern slopes of the Tay east of Aberfeldy.
The walk is mostly on farm tracks and paths.
No dogs.
The meeting point is in the Council car park above the Coop in Aberfeldy for car sharing along to the car park at Dewars Distillery (NN 865495). Consolidate cars there to go to the car park at St Mary's Church. 9.30am at the Coop car park or 9.45am at the Distillery
