Overview

A leisurely walk in the Borrowdale Valley along the banks of the River Derwent and through Johnny Wood. We then head to Stonethwaite and along both banks of Stonethwaite Beck before returning to the start point.

We park in the National Trust Car Park which has public toilets (donations for using the toilet welcomed). 

Please note that the Flock In is presently shut and not due to reopen until February so no refreshments will be available there.
