We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A very easy 4.5 mile route along the canal, footpaths and a small stretch of road.
Meet at the gate onto Rugby Drive Playing fields SJ920754 SK10 2HP at 10:30am. There is plenty of street parking, but please bear in mind it is a residential area.
Route takes us over the Dutch Bridge towards the canal and past Moat Hill Farm, continuing along Oak Lane. As we reach Kerridge, we take the path to the canal and continue to Waterside Café, where we can stop for coffee. For anyone bringing their own refreshments there is a small wall at the bottom of the bridge where you can sit.
We will return back to Rugby Drive along the Canal
