A circular that explores the countryside north of Saffron Walden to the Little Chesterford hills. There should be bluebells in the wood by the research park. Lunch stop will be in Little Walden. Saffron Walden has a market on a Saturday and there is plenty of opportunity for an end of walk coffee or pub visit.
Meet at the entrance to Swan Meadow Car Park Park Lane at 10.30 am. The car park is £3.50 for 9 hours.
For bus users the 7 from Emmanuel Street 08.47am Stop E1 arrives in Saffron high street at 9.56 am.
I suggest not getting the replacement bus service from Cambridge rail station, since that will probably drop off at Audley End.
