A leisurely walk through fields and lanes around Salem. All the old broken wooden stiles have been replaced with metal gates, but there is still the mud! There are some lovely views towards the Brecon Beacons and if it's fine we'll make a detour to enjoy the view from Maes Castell iron age fort. We will follow a path below Taliaris mansion, from where there is a good view of the historic building. The walk is around 4.5 miles with a couple of steady gradients and a wind turbine.
Meet at Llandeilo station at 9.45 to car share to the walk starting place - Salem village hall - parking in the layby.
