Overview

A lovely circular walk taking in woodland, the small settlements of Samlesbury Bottoms and Hoghton Bottoms and a couple of rivers.

The walk is graded as easy, but there are a few steep uphill and downhill sections in addition to a couple of likely muddy areas. Walking boots are therefore strongly recommended. Well-behaved dogs are welcome too, but must be kept on their leads (when off-road).
