Sandwich Bay

Meet outside The Drill Hall, Fishergate, The Quay, Sandwich. (Parking in pay and display car park opposite. Toilets also available). The walk will follow the English Coastal Path northwards towards Shellness Point and the mouth of the River Stour where there is a protected area which houses a bird reserve. After being in the countryside up until now, Sandwich Bay suddenly looms before us. Our walk then takes us along the beach and dunes towards Princes Golf Club and then inland across the Royal St George’s golf course back to Sandwich.
