This walk has been cancelled

Walk is longer than anticipated and would be better done at another time of year.

Overview

A walk based on Speech House in the heart of the Forest of Dean on a Saturday close to Christmas. There's no guarantee of snow, sleigh bells or a Winter Wonderland but a good walk to warm everyone in winter.
It includes Speech House Lake, a picnic area for a break and good walking in the woods. Much of this walk follows the Beechenhurst Trail in the forest.
After returning to the car park, anyone who wishes may join me for tea or coffee and cake in Speech House.
