A leisurely walk enjoying good views and only one steep climb out of Scratchy Bottom.
We will walk North towards Holworth farm, after another 500 metres join a path on the ridge and at Five Mary's tumuli head to East Chalden. Past a small car park we enter a classic downland valley and at Sleight buildings enjoy the benefits of a large, newly filled, slurry tank.
Past Daggers gate and Durdle door camp site, we descend to Scratchy Bottom and then take a long steady climb to the high level path back to the car park.
Meet at Eastern end of Ringstead N T car park. This is free to N T members.
Picnic but no dogs.
