A good walk for the wet winter season. Once we have crossed the fields towards Coberly from the Seven Springs layby we will walk on wide, well drained paths and farm tracks, many of which are surfaced, as well as short stretches on quiet country lanes. There are two sections along fields which are likely to be quite muddy but mostly we should have easy, level walking with just a few gently climbs. From Coberly we will cross the A435 towards Upper Coberly and from there we are heading towards Colesbourne, with fabulous views across the Churn valley and the likelihood of expanses of snowdrops along the woodland edge. At Colesbourne we cross the main road again, heading towards Cockleford and from there back towards Coberly and Seven Springs.
