Overview

A pleasant walk heading out of Shawford for Twyford. The first mile or so will involve road (pavements)
but once this is done there are only footpaths. We head out of Twyford on Love Lane joining the Monarch's Way near the Twyford Pumping Station. Shortly after we head north and pick up the Pilgrims' Trail passing Hockley Golf Club.
Then it's over the M3 by St Catherine's Hill picking up the Itchen Way tow path and it's the last couple of miles back to Shawford. Drinks (optional) at The Bridge Inn (Shawford) to finish.

Usually plenty of parking in the railway station car park, which was free the last time I checked. Otherwise park around the village but please be respectful of the locals. Alternatively, consider using the train.
