From Shenfield we walk through Hutton Mount and Highfield Wood on to Herongate for a lunch stop at the Green Man, then through Thorndon Park and Hart’s Wood back to Brentwood Station.

Oystercards and contactless are valid from Brentwood to Shenfield (and are cheaper than buying advance tickets with a railcard).
