Overview

A circular walk from Sherbourne Church visiting Heath End and Norton Lindsey before returning to Sherbourne.

Terrain is moderate but inclined to be muddy and there are some stiles in poor condition.  There are two crossings of the A46, the first requiring great care being at road level in two stages separated by suitably gapped crash barriers within the central reservation whereas the second has the benefit of an underpass.  Apart from that the landscape is classic mid-Warwickshire fields, woods and streams.

The start and finish offer chances to view the magnificent Grade 2 listed All Saints Church, however participants are asked to consider a separate visit to fully appreciate this building internally and externally.

There is limited parking adjacent to the church and along Church Lane (a cul de sac), however priority must be given to churchgoers, also please respect the firm (but not legally binding) parking restriction signs near the cottages. This being so, please consider parking in adjacent Fulbrook Lane and walk the short distance along Church Lane to the start. Car sharing will also help, of course.
