We are the Wolverhampton Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk goes from the Punch Bowl car park past Harts Hill and then uphill to the Coppice Hill carpark. From here we head east across Sherbrook Valley and Abrahams Valley, past Rugeley Quarry and through the Wolseley Estate to Wolseley Bridge. Then we return via the Trent and Mersey Canal and Shugborough Park. Joint walk with Wolverhampton Ramblers.
We leave the meeting point in Walsall promptly at 08:45am. The start time is the time the actual walk is due to start.
We regret we cannot allow dogs other than assistance dogs on weekend Walsall Group walks.
Walkers should check on www.walsallramblers.org.uk that the walk has not been cancelled before leaving home.
Personal medication, e.g. asthma inhalers and angina sprays, must be carried by the walkers themselves.
All walkers should carry an ICE card or a contact number in case of emergency.
Booking is not necessary for this walk.
York's Bridge on the B4154 between Pelsall and the A5 Turf Island will be closed on the date of this walk.
Walkers will need a packed lunch.

Punch Bowl car park on A513 between Wolseley Bridge and Milford. Not a pub car park. A461 into Lichfield, at Bowling Green island take A51 towards Stone / Stafford, bypass Rugeley, at Wolseley Bridge junction take A513 Stafford, car park is on L below road at RH bend after Shugborough entrance. Location is 842 metres to the South West of ST17 0XA
