We are the Tendring District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This 10.1 mile circular walk commences from the car park at Shotley Village Hall. We will walk in an anti clockwise direction through Shotley Street working our way southwards to the river bank, where we will be able to enjoy views across The Stour, weather permitting, of Wrabness to the east and Parkeston Quay westwards. A late lunch break is planned on the towpath. When we get to Shotley Gate we will walk around the marina before heading back to Shotley.
Please wear clothing and footwear to suit the prevailing weather conditions and bring a packed lunch.
