Overview

A lovely, and hopefully not too muddy, circular Autumn walk from Skidby Windmill to and around Risby Park and back.

Refreshment and break stops along the way with a lunch and toilet stop at Folly Lake Cafe (dog friendly). You might like to bring your own sandwich and buy cake and a drink as the cafe gets busy and waiting times for food can be long. Please note, cash preferable, bank transfer available but mobile signal is poor.

From here, we'll head back to Skidby, and along Gallows Way back to the Windmill. There are a couple of inclines along the route.

This is a 7 mile walk but there is an option, for those who wish to, to go to the cafe early - making it a 5 mile route. Optional drink at the Half Moon Pub in Skidby at the end or the Sails Cafe by the Windmill is lovely too.
