Overview

This ascent of Snowdon is relatively quiet yet allows the walker to appreciate the grandeur of the highest mountain in Wales. Going up we take the South Ridge and descend using the Rhyd-Ddu path. Stunning views, 360 degrees in places. Some scrambling is involved. Please bring layers of clothing and waterproofs as weather can change quickly on the mountain.
