Overview

A 10.5 mile moderate walk from South Cave. We walk up Little Wold, where we pick up the Yorkshire Wolds Way. We should enjoy views over the Humber before we leave it at Brantingham to head for Elloughton for lunch (where there's a pub and cafe). After lunch, the return via Ellerker to South Cave is much flatter.

Layby near cemetery. Take M62 (East). The Ouse bridge has a speed limit of 30, but there are 2 lanes each way. Continue onto the A63. After about 3 miles, leave the A63 and turn left onto the A1034 to South Cave. Follow the road through South Cave. About 0.5 mile from the centre of South Cave, just after the cemetery, park in the layby on the left. If the layby is full, there is a car park at the cemetery (open during daylight hours and there are no burials on Saturday). There is also parking along Swinescaife Road, which is the next turn on the right (please be careful not to block field entrances and leave passing places).
