Overview

A leisurely walk from the park and along the sea front to the Pier. All being well there will be good views over the estuary from the end of the Pier. We return along the same route.

We can park in the free car park to the East of Lifstan Way (Shoeburyness Side.) This has more space. There is a charge for walking on the pier and a train service if desired. New walkers are welcome. SouthChurch Park can be accessed from Southend East Rail Station (with a short walk) and via the no 9 bus.
